An Automatic Recognition Approach of Human Gestures

An automatic human gestures recognition approach is presented.Human gestures are efficiently represented by motion energy images and motion history images which respectively tell us where the gestures have occurred and how the gestures have moved in image sequences.The moment invariants are modified and computed as feature vectors for the recognition of human gestures.The experiments show that the proposed method greatly improves the efficiency of human gestures recognition.
