A Comprehensive Inspecting Method for Sea Dike Constructed by Explosive Replacement Method

The principle and construction procedure of explosive replacement method as well as the principle of boring,ground penetrating radar(GPR),seismic imaging and surface wave inspecting techniques were introduced.Two inspecting comparing experiments were respectively conducted at two sites.The results indicated that the four inspecting methods have merits and demerits.The boring method can obtain directly perceived result but costs a lot and the inspecting speed is very low.The inspecting speed and precision of GPR are very high,but the penetrating depth is limited.The precision of seismic imaging method is relatively low,but the inspecting depth can be as high as 100m.The surface wave velocity of the stratum can be obtained from the surface wave inspecting result,but the depth precision is low.Through combining the four methods,a useful comprehensive inspecting method was put out.
