Research on Implemental methods of Butterworth Low-Pass Filter

In this article we analyzed theoretically the design methods of Butterworth low-pass filter based on circular convolution.Taken the Butterworth low-pass filter with the cutoff frequency 1k Hz for an example,we present a design method of general Butterworth low-pass filter based on C language.From the time overhead,processing delay and so on,we compare the method based on the C language with the method based on Matlab.Simulation results show that the processing time of the method given in this paper is 1/200 of that of the method based on Matlab.
