Spam Control Scheme Based on Centralized Authentication Management in Distributed Server

Chen Ye-neng · Ordnance Industry Automation · 2007

The spam control scheme based on centralized authentication management in distributed server considers the spam control association as the global hostname/IP verification center for the mail servers, and the ISPs as verification sub-centers.The mail servers firstly send hostname/IP validation requests to the sub-centers(ISPs).ISP checks the hostnames /IPs in their local databases or cache. If the information is found, the ISPs will send the result to the mail servers;if not,the ISPs will send recursive calls to the upper level association centers(spam control association). After receiving the feedback from verification center, the mail servers will deal with or reject the unqualified addresses transmission according to the mail domain name and IP address of the sending part.
