Application of Processed Project Management in Community Intervention

Objective To explore the effective mechanism for improving the community health service.Methods Processed project management was used in community intervention project of managing elder hypertension and diabetes in old industrial base Shenyang.Results A flow chart was designed according to project management process (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling, Closing), and a community health service (CHS) teamwork whose core is academic institution was established. Knowledge and skills of the practitioners in managing hypertension and diabetes were developed, and the elders′ utilization rate of CHS was improved.Conclusion Processed project management can make the best use of limited resources to raise efficiency and quality of CHS.
