Improved correction method of tilt documentation based on the Hough transform

Hough transform has been widely used in tilt documentation correction.But,the voting mechanism is used in this method,the amount of calculation is large and error correction efficiency is not high.This paper studies on this problem and gives the solutions.For the high-resolution image,resolution will be reduced several times and the images are corrected step by step in order to implement the rapid correction of the tilt text image.At the same time,considering the characteristics of the common documentation boundary with strong directionality,the line detection method is used on the documentation boundary to calculate the tilt angle in stead of the traditional line detection method based on textline.It will shorten the detection time.The experimental results show that the algorithm significantly improves the correction efficiency,shorten the correction time,and improved the correction accuracy.
