THE APPLICATION OF WAVELET ANALYSIS THEORY TO THE TECHNOLOGY OF GPS

In GPS data processing, there are some questions about the effect of error, the disturbance of some wave, cycle slip, the vast datum and so on, the effect of error and the disturbance of wave are due to the effect of others factors when receiving the signals of satellites; the cycle slip comes from the discontinuous signal; and the vast datum is caused by small sample interval and continuous observation. With the character of time-frequency analysis, wave-decomposing, attribute distilling and fast wavelet transformation, and so on, the application of wavelet transformation and wave-decomposing is the key to reduce the effect of error and the disturbance of some wave; the method of attribute distilling can detect cycle slip, and the fast wavelet transformation can compress the data. Some superficial opinions about GPS data processing are presented in this paper.
