Digital Measuring Device for Grating-scales Based on LG97L52 Microprocessor

A kind of economical and practical digital measuring device for grating-scales has been built which is based on LG97L52 microprocessor.After being isolated photo-electrically and corrected,signal A and B coming from linear or orbicular grating-scales are sent to frequency-multiplying and direction-discriminating circuits and then sent to T0 counter and T1 counter of LG97L52 microprocessor.The counting values of T0 and T1 are read by CPU and the displacements are sent to 8279 which controls a set of light-emitting diodes to display.The measuring device is equipped with keyboard and the parameters can be set on it.Photo-electric isolating circuit,pulses correcting circuit,frequency-multiplying and direction-discriminating circuits and displacements displaying circuit are given in detail.The software flow-chart for grating-scales signals' sampling and displacements' displaying is designed.The results of being widely used show that the device has high accuracy and good reliability,is easy to operate and has high ratio of performance to price.
