Research on Context-aware Supply Chain Procurement Decision Based on Rule Engine

This paper proposes a context-aware procurement decision method in supply chain management.The context-awareness concept is introduced and the architecture of the context aware service system is also proposed.It puts forward the context space concept,and a key-value based context model is defined accordingly.Also the rule-based reasoning method is adopted in the model.An open source rule engine,Drools,is integrated into the system to perform rule definition and reasoning.The context aware decision method is testified by a purchase decision process in a supply chain procurement system.
