Color histogram which is simple to co mpute yet ef-fective as a feature in detecting ima ge -to -image similarity,has been widely used in CBIR.However,th e classical color histogram has its drawbacks.E.g.it does not contain information about the spatial distributions of pixels in a n image.To overcome its limi-tations and to integrate color spati al distribution information,some refinement are proposed such as the r efined histogram,the cor-relogram etc.In this paper,we proposed a new image histogram model,which is weighted on anglogra m.It not only preserved the advantages of classical histogram b ut also integrated the color spatial distribution information.The experimental results show our approaches can achieve better performance in comparison with classical histogram techniques.
