A Real-time Detection Method for Premature Ventricular Contraction

This paper presents a detecting method for Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC) in electrocardiograph(ECG), in which knowledge presentation and reasoning process of human being are simulated as fuzzy reasoning. Combinedwith neural network technology, this method can be used to detect PVCs in real-time automatically. The test results based onMIT arrhythmia database indicate that this method is useful for the detection of ectopic heedbeat.
