Application of Artificial Immune Algorithm in Fire Assignment

As a novel intelligent computing research field, artificial immune algorithm ( AIA ) has been used in solving problems, such as network security, pattern recognize, function optimization, genetic algorithm(GA) etc. To solve the difficulty in calculation with traditional fire assignment model, an artificial immune algorithm of fire assignment was introduced. The mathematic model of fire assignment was analyzed and a corresponding artificial immune algorithm was constructed by way of analogy. Artificial immune algorithm and genetic algorithm were compared to find similarities and differences. Then, a typical fire assignment problem was solved with AIA. The result proves that artificial immune algorithm is of high speed and high fidelity to solve fire assignment problems and provides references to solve such problems.
