A Method of Intrusion Detection on Fuzzy C-means Based on Clone

In this paper,clonal selection theory is introduced into C-means algorithm which can effectively tackle those problems of nonstability, slow convergence and nonideal clustering that exist in IDS with the traditional C-means. A detailed designing scheme and implementation in intrusion detection by this method are provided. The experimental results reveal that the system can detect variety of unknown abnormal intrusion, and demonstrate that combined clustering algorithm has good performance.
