Simulating Optimal Mobility Robustness for Heterogeneous Networks

In this paper, we run a large number of simulations to find problems with detailed mobility robustness in heterogeneous networks. We also provide solutions to such problems. After comparing mobility robustness in a heterogeneous network with that in a homogeneous network, we found that the mobility parameters in a heterogeneous network should be selected according to different switching targets. By setting different mobility parameters in heterogeneous network simulation, we found that the trade-off between mobility robustness and system overheard should be taken into account.
