Design and Implementation of Network Backup System Based on Linux

A network backup system has been presented.It implements synchronous or asynchronous backup in physical(layer.) It works in Linux operation system as a kernel module.And the operation system is affected little.Based on the procedure of Linux kernel storage,it translates the backup data blocks at the interface of file system layer to device driver layer in Linux kernel.This design supports all the storage medias and file systems that the Linux kernel supports.
