The design of GIS and VR based oil-gas exploration and biology trace mis in the center of tarim basin

By collecting,sorting and analyzing the large number of data including drilling,geology,physics and chemistry as well as trace fossils which are accumulated in Tarim basin by recent work of oil-gas exploration,the authors build drilling,geology,physics chemistry as well as trace fossils database and compile the system《oil –gas resource information system in the center of tarim basin》.The system can manage the large of data and realize data being inputed,stored,update,queried,analysed,spatial analysed,shown,outputted,etc.By using system artesian well histogram,contrast histogram and simulate single trace fossil,ichnofacies as well as the process of forming can be automatically drawn.A kind of new idea and method is provided about application of ichnology on oil and gas exploration,which is significant in evaluating oil and gas resource and constituting direction of exploration.
