Change in Network:Analysis on Social Network and the Transformation of Land-lost Farmers into Townspeople

The transformation of land-lost farmers into townspeople is embedded into their social networks.Based on the research in Shanghai,Guangdong,Liaoning and Henan,this article takes an analysis on the relation of the social network and the role transition of land-lost farmers.Results are as follows: 1) Relations between land-lost farmers and city residents influence farmers' evaluation and identity on the role of townspeople;2) Relations between neighbors and relatives are changing after farmers loss their lands,showing the enhancement of instrumental tendency;(3) Co-worker relations of land-lost farmers are weak and immature,which constraint land-lost farmers' role transition;4) Resident committee plays an important part.The article makes a deeper discussion from aspects such as preventing the poor culture,promoting the recreation of land-lost farmers' social capital,etc.
