Geography information system of seawall and foreshore industry is important non-engineering measure in flood prevention.On the basis of management actuality of industry of seawall and foreshore,the unified data structure,the basic framework and main functions of information management system are studied,and applied in the construction of informaiton system of eight seawall management.The practice indicates that the model performs well.In this paper,the sources of the data,contents,structure,functions of the system are introduced in detaile.The design of database and some key technology are discussed.
