Variable Specific Heat Model for Gas Turbines Simulation Calculations Using Modelica and Dymola
Wei Fu · Journal of Power Engineering · 2006
Considering volumetric effects, combined with modular modeling,a mathematical model for calculating the varying specific heat in gas turbines has been deduced.Furthermore,an extensible simulation library for gas turbines has been elaborated by using the new object-oriented simulation language——Modelica. Simultaneously,by using the simulation library and other program libraries,a single shaft gas turbine model is built on the platform Dymola and the dynamic behavior of the turbine calculated with specific heat considered variable.Compared with the calculation result by software——Gasturb as well as that obtained by the constant specific heat method, the present method is verified to be reasonable and effective, the simulation used to be feasible and its application worthy of popularization.Figs 7 and refs 5.
