Design and Implementation of Water Supply Pipeline Network Information System Based on MapX

This paper introduces in detail a spatial pipeline network information system developed by using MapX groupware.The system realizes bidirectional inquiry between spatial pipeline layers and attributes.A searching algorithm for closing valves in case of accident is also given.Practice demonstrates that spatial pipelines network information systems can be efficiently built up by using MapX.
