Design and Realization of Vectorization Algorithm on Geological Contour-map

Based on theories of Computer Graphics, Digital Image Processing, Pattern Recognition and combined characteristic of geological contour-map, we present one kind of intelligent tracking algorithm. First, one blueprint is scanned to picture data of BMP pattern with scanner. Then, by applying this algorithm to the picture after pretreatment, we realize its edge-detection and get vector graphical data. As a result, we solve digital problem of geological contour-map.
