Fingerprint minutiae feature encryption based on fuzzy vault scheme

The existing fingerprint fuzzy vault schemes are not secure when they are used to encrypt a short secret,a novel fingerprint feature encryption method is proposed based on fuzzy vault scheme.First,the degree of encoded polynomial of fuzzy vault scheme based on the decryption requirement is sepecified,and the secret based on the specified degree sequentially is hided.In this way,the proposed method avoided the drawback that the degree of encoded polynomial of fuzzy vault is determined by the length of secret,and solved the problem of insecurity in the existing method.
