Application of PESPICE in Magnetically Coupling Circuit Teaching

Two mistakes in magnetically coupling circuit simulation in the textbook are pointed out and the reasons why the mistakes occurred are analyzed. The DOT convention for magnetically coupling circuit in PESPICE simulating software is summed up. For mutual inductances coupling circuit, the dot is pin 1 of each inductance; for transformer, the dots are pin1 and pin3 of the transformer respectively. Theoretically calculation is also given to verify the simulating result of ideal transformer.
