DSRC-Based research on electronic toll collection system in the ITS architecture

ETC system is an important part in the ITS architecture,which is broadly used overseas,and it is a comparatively mature application.This article is to research the ETC system based on the ITS architecture,and to analyze its structure,the modal of data flow and the modal of financing flow in the clearing bank system and between other ITS subsystems.The subsystems can share the vehicle information with ETC system through the TCIP protocol.The article also focuses on the DSRC technology in order to realize the interoperability of the respective ETC systems.In the end,the article expatiates on some technologies of the implementation of ETC system.
