A MapXtreme- Based Method for Developing WebGIS

This paper analyses the principle and structure of MapXtreme, which is a representative WebGIS software platform, discusses two methods of GIS data management using MapXtreme, analyzes the problems which occur in the process of managing GIS data, and provides the relevant resolutions. This paper describes a WebGIS architecture based on MapXtreme, analyses the scalability and Client Strategy based on this architecture, and finally gives an actual example.
