Combat Effectiveness Evaluation of Self-Propelled Artillery Based on Principal Component Analysis
Wen-ge Wang · Ordnance Industry Automation · 2009
The paper evaluates combat effectiveness of self-propelled artillery based on principal component analysis.According to effectiveness index such as fire attack capability, maneuvering capability and protection capability,we established the relationship between main comprehensive index and self-propelled artillery’s combat effectiveness, and qualified the combat effectiveness through SPSS software. The evaluation includes: standardized processing of original data, obtaining correlation matrix of standardized data, calculating eigenvalues of correlation matrix, determining the number of principal components and calculating the reduced comprehensive index. The method can provide help for combat effectiveness evaluation.
