ENGINEERING APPLICATION OF THE MAXIMUM ENTROPY RELIABILITY THEORY

Based on the maximum entropy in the information theory,the engineering application of reliability theory of the maximum entropy principle is introduced.A few subjects,such as the effect of the mean value and standard deviation on the convergence,the effect of the sample number and the exponent number on the density function,overpass rate and reliability index are analyzed.The forth moment method is recommanded,and some useful conclusions on its accuracy control are provided.
