Analysis and Implement of Windows Shell Program Mechanism

Windows Shell is a interface to access many system objects.Through this interface,users can write program to use and extend the function of Shell.This paper analyzes the program mechanism of Shell,and takes how to change icon of a folder as example to tell the application of Windows Shell.
