A bandgap voltage reference(BGR) with high-order curvature compensation is designed.Based on the BGR with first-order curvature compensation and using base-emitter voltage VBE's nonlinear dependence of temperature T,a voltage with temperature characteristic of k_1T+k_2TlnT is added to the first-order curvature compensated voltage. With the Cadence tools, the TSMC 0.35 μm technology and device models, single power supply of 3 V,the simulated temperature coefficient of first order curvature compensated BGR is 13 ppm/℃ over the wide temperature range of 50~150 ℃,while with high-order curvature compensation, the temperature coefficient of BGR is reduced to 3.1 ppm/℃.
