Modeling and Optimization of Flexible Inventory in Distribution System Based on Entropy

The definition of flexibility was studied and uncertainty of distribution system was analyzed.The quantified definition of flexible inventory was presented with application of Entropy principle of Information Theory.Based on the quantified definition of flexible inventory,flexible inventory model was formed subject to constraints of service levels.An illustrative example was given and resolved by genetic algorithm toolbox in MATLAB.The optimal solution and data analysis showed the model based on entropy principle was feasible and effective.
