Improvement of TCP Reno in wireless networks

If the sender receives three duplicate acknowledgments,TCP Reno protocol judges that the congestion occurs somewhere between the source host and the destination host,and then it will halve the rate.In the wireless network environment,this study introduces congestion indicator into TCP Reno to do further analysis of repeated acknowledgments.If the network is not in congested state,the rate will not be decreased.Thereby the network throughput is improved.
