Research on architecture of educational resources grid and model of metadata

The traditional Web model can′t meet the requirement of file resource management under Internet for reasons of Web server bottleneck,resource replication management,resource discovery and network bandwidth problems.Grid,a infrastructure for resource sharing on Internet,provides an efficient method for distributed resource management.This paper introduced an architecture of educational resourece grid(ERG) and analyzed the component function in detail.It proposed a metadata model of ERG.
