A Practical Model for Software User Interface Evaluation

Fengming Zhang, AF Aviation · Microelectronics & Computer · 2006

Software user interface evaluation is becoming more and more important. This paper puts forward a method for the construction of software user interface evaluation model and principles for evaluation index selection, then presents a practical model with two levels indexes corresponding to the attribute level and criteria level separately. Lastly, it explains how to use this model in the different stage of software development, and for different types of software, and for different evaluation purposes. This model can serve as a base for software user interface quality evaluation and quality assurance.
