Hardware realization of timing synchronization in broadband OFDM system

A hardware-based solution of mixing DSP and FPGA is proposed in this paper as to the timing synchronization of broadband OFDM system.Compared with full FPGA soltion,the proposed one has less resource consumption,high timing accuracy and flexible extensibility.In can meet the needs of timing synchronization of many kinds of communication protocols.Supreme capability of timing and adjustment has been proved for this solution by experiment under wireless environments.
