Dual watermarking method based on DCT and DWT transform domain

In order to improve the singleness of the digital watermarking function,based on the discrete cosine transform and the discrete wavelet transform,a dual-function digital watermarking method was proposed.By embedding robust watermark and fragile watermarking,the dual purpose of image copyright protection and image content authentication was achieved by this new method.The experimental results showed that this new algorithm,which used the wavelet transform features with robust watermark embedded in the low-frequency image,had a good robustness.By using the discrete cosine transform with fragile watermark embedded in its high-frequency part,this method also achieved the purpose of image authentication when attacked or tampered with more susceptible to damage fragile watermarking.
