An Improved MAC Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network

Based on S-MAC, an improved energy-efficient MAC protocol for Wireless Sensor Network for wide area large scale environmental monitoring is proposed in this paper. The analysis show that the improved protocol can reduce energy consumption efficient without add latency.
