Demand on Operation Systems in Interprocess Communication of the Symmetric Multiprocessing

The following paper focused on the supporting mechanism of SMP (Symmetric Multiprocessing) by Linux,analyzed the realization of Sharing Memory mechanism and two paralleling programming model,named share memory and message passing.It analyzed Omni OpenMP,MPICH as well as System V IPC mechanism.From these analyses it put forward the basis demand on OS supporting SMP by IPC,which supplied examples and ideas for understanding and designing such Operation Systems.
