Comparison between English and Chinese parallelisms

Ya-Min Li · Journal of Xin Yu College · 2005

Starting from the make-up of the English and Chinese parallelism structures, this paper analyses the types of English and Chinese parallelism structures and compares their differences in order to help people to use parallelism in a better way. By analysis of the make-up of the English and Chinese parallelism structures and structure types, we can see that they are more alike than different and can be translated in direct method. When using parallelisms, more attention should be paid to content than form.
