Adaptive Diversity Search and Optimization Design for MPEG-4 Coder
Song Changping · Equipment Manufacturing Technology · 2011
To meet motion estimation's accuracy and efficiency,an adaptive diversity rapid search algorithm based on variable size block is proposed. Two kinds of search algorithm, diamond search and three step search, are applied to different sub-block of the same macro block. The disadvantages of single search strategy is overcome by algorithm's diversity and sub-blocks' similarity, which reduce search points obviously.XVID,one of open source software of MPEG-4,is analyzed and researched, and optimization design of transporting XVID into ADSP-BF533 processor is given to achieve real time MPEG-4 encoding. Results show that the MPEG-4 coder implemented by this paper can reach the requirement of real time.
