The Doppler frequency difference between objectives caused by the distance of the formation target and the Doppler frequency change rule was analyzed, and the basic principles of short-time Fourier transform, Choi-Williams distribution and Morlet wavelet transform were described. At the same time, the advantages and disadvantages of using this time-frequency analysis methods to get the information of the objective amounts were discussed. After comprehensively considering the principle of simple engineering operation and valid simulation result, the wavelet transformation method is optimal to implement the real-time signal processing because of its high resolution, quick calculation, small amounts of data to deal, and noise interference rejection.
