Citrus rust mite is an important pest of citrus in China. Generally, it has three occurrence peaks in one year in China. Recent studies on citrus rust mite(Phyllocoptura oleivora Ashmead) were systematically accounted, including occurrence rule (Favourable temperature range was 23~32℃, optimal temperature measured by both r and R 0 was 25℃, and critical photoperiod was L∶D=12∶12), resistance to dicofol and other pesticides, natural enemies(predatorious mites, cocinellia, square-spotted thrips, etc.), chemical control. IPM of the citrus rust mite was suggested.
