Reading Comprehension——The Transformation of Macrostructure to Microstructure

Macrostructure is the high-level semantic structure in a text, it reflects the whole meaning of a text. In reading a text, the transformation of the microstructure to macrostructure means that we have changed from reading from the surface to reading from the deep meaning. In this process, we can apply the macrostructure rule and it is proved that the macrostructure theory can help us a lot in understanding a text.
