Agro-meteorological Information Service Systems Based on ComGIS

Based on the SQL Server 2000 database,an agrometeorological information service system for Guizhou Province which integrated information collection,analysis,release and transmission had been established, by using the Visual Basic programming language and ActiveX Data Objects(ADO) and combined the GIS subsequence development techniques.By means of MapObjects2.1 Components,the system could be provided with comprehensive agro-meteorological information both in time and space.
