High-performance Hierarchical Complex Event Detection over RFID Streams

This paper proposes a high-performance Hierarchical Complex Event Detection(HCED) method to overcome the drawback of the current Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) complex event detection methods. Based on basic query plan of SASE, it supports hierarchical complex event detection and uses parallel algorithm at different level to improve the performance. Experimental result shows that the method has better performance and flexibility than traditional complex event detection methods.
