The Practice of and Research on Applying Regular Expression to Match IP Address

Regular expression is the most popular language in the world, which is used to match character stream and supported by many programming languages or tools. This paper uses regular expression to match IP address, compares the writing sty les of some models, and analyzes on the differences of some models under differe nt regular expression engines, and gets an accurate and universal model.
