Transport Integrated Information Platform Based on XML

Firstly,the characteristics of urban transport integrated information platform(TIIP) and eXtensible Markup Language(XML) are analyzed.Then,the system architecture of TIIP based on XML is proposed and the function and realization of three main layers are studied,including distributed heterogeneous data source layer,information integrated layer,and application system layer.Combined with the practical development,the example of information exchange and sharing based on XML is introduced.The results indicate that the XML technology is a solution to the transport integrated information platform.
