RIDPCM Based on Edge-Shifted Matching

RIDPCM is a kind of image coding method, in which the predicted image is obtained by interpolation. In this paper, we propose to achieve every predicted image by the interpolation based on edge-shifted matching method, so as to minify the error signal which is gotten by taking the difference between the original and predicted signal values. Therefore, at a given coding rate we improve the image quality.
