Transferable Off-Line Electronic Cash

Since Chaum first introduced blind signatures and presented the first untraceable electronic cash scheme, lar ge numbers of electronic cash schemes have been proposed. The varied properties of electronic cash, such as anonymity, no double spending, divisibility, fairnes s etc. were studied widely. But the literatures concerning the transferability a s one of nature properties of real cash were rarely seen. To our knowledge, no s ecure concrete scheme of transferable off-line electronic cash was presented in literatures. In this paper, the transferability of off-line electronic cash is discussed, and the model of transferable electronic cash is described. A concre te transferable electronic cash scheme is presented firstly. The security of the scheme on unforgeability, untraceability, no double spending, no farming is pro ved, and the efficiency is analyzed as well.
