OBJECTIVE To investigate the application of entropy method in the study of transdermal absorption of drugs.METHODS The transdermal absorption experimentation was carried out on the dual-chamber devices in vitro.Three indices(penetrating rate, stable flux and lag time)were calculated upon the concentration. The comprehensive evaluation of three indices was carried with entropy method.RESULTS The 2% methol group had the best effect, followed by 1% methol 1% azone group,2% methol and 1% azone group,1% methol group and 1% azone group were worst.CONCLUSION The entropy method may become a new approach to evaluate the effect of the transdermal absorption of drugs synthetically.
