This paper proposes a new protocol LSTLMRP(Location Server Tree based Location Management and Routing Protocol)for mobile sinks in wireless sensor networks. As sink moves,it only updates its location information in local or whole location server tree,it does not update its location information in large range or whole network. Also LSTLMRP has a new scheme on route to mobile sink.Theory analysis and simulation show that LSTLMRP consumes less energy for location update than other protocols, solves the unbalance problem of sensor energy consumption, and also it decreases greatly the data delivery cost to mobile sink.It is very adapt to large scale or high density WSN(Wireless Sensor Network).
